Waste from the site has reduced by more than 25% since 2007 and the site has sent zero waste to landfill from its operations since 2010.

ISO4001 Certified

Our Oldham site has been certified to the ISO14001 environmental management standard since 2012 and in 2013 it became one of only a handful of food manufacturing sites to be awarded 'Gold Status' under Marks & Spencer's Plan A programme.

Park Cakes is working to reduce the environmental impact of products and ingredients used within its supply chain. For example, Park Cakes is a member of the Round Table on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) and all palm oil and palm oil derivatives used within its ingredients are RSPO certified.
